PS3™遊戲軟件「WORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven 2014(中英語合版)」的語音包括日本語/英語，而遊戲選單則可以選擇使用中文繁體字或英語操作。在「中英語合版」發售的第4年，「WORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven 2014 (中英語合版)」將繼續為亞洲球迷帶來最真實的足球遊戲。
結合著名的Fox Engine及可讓開發團隊對遊戲內每個細節都能作出調整的獨特足球系統，WE2014帶領足球遊戲走向一個全新的世代。作為WE2014的核心的超擬真球體動態技術 （Trueball Tech），使「足球」本身脫離了球員動作之間的束縛，並成為一個獨立個體對外界作出反應，讓玩家得以享受絕對自由的控球；以「重心」為重點的物理引擎讓玩家獨立地對球員的體重移動作出控制，塑造出逼真的一對一局面；最新的感應動態系統（MASS）真實體現球員之間的接觸與推擠，創造出多樣性的結果，帶給玩家一個更自由及令人難以預料的遊戲體驗。該真實程度更延伸至球員的移動，團隊間的合作，甚至球衣的網格編織等細微部分也充分地表現出來。
WE2014首次搭載AFC Champions League” （亞洲冠軍聯賽）模式，並收錄了全世界足球迷所觸目的決定歐洲盃賽的殊榮的「UEFA盃聯賽」模式及決定南美No.1的「南美自由盃」模式，是世界唯一可於一款作品中享受決定歐洲，南美及亞洲冠軍的樂趣的足球遊戲。此外在本作的「Master League Online」模式中，玩家可以監督身份，不單是育成自己的足球隊，世界上第一個提供了率領球隊移藉、邁向歐洲及南美王者之殊榮的樂趣。
本作品對應多種類的DLC。WE2014初回生産版收錄了初回限定特典「European Classic Kits」的DLC下載code，此特典含有Benfica, Manchester United, AS Roma and AC Milan隊的球衣可供玩家使用。WE2014正式發售後，亦會定期進行選手資料更新，球衣更新和發佈DLC。
